On this what I can see in the Pin description of the displays, there are different signals used in 50 pin (eDP), and 40 pin (LVDS), so probably it will be not possible to rewind the cables. I bought both types of the cable, so I could make it, when is it possible.

I bought a cable. Now I dismounted complete laptop. And there is surprise. There is missing socket for the 40 pin cable. There is place for the socket, but it have to be soldered into the main board. It is possible, that there are missing also several passive elements on the main board. So probably it will be impossible, or at least difficult to get it running.

Hello to everybody. I am user of the Clevo P170HM3. And after the years of using I want to change the display to B173HW01. I tried today. But I found, that laptop have 50 pins plug instead of 40 pins. Is there any way to connect that new display to it?
