Really disappointed the way AW is going with them limiting upgrade possibilities. But what has me even more upset is that they discontinued the AW18 line. I have had three generations of 18.4" laptops and don't know where to look when I need to upgrade my current AW18. Hopefully AW will bring it back in the near future.

I am on a laptop with a 60Hz refresh so I cap my fps to that in order to not build as much heat and reduce the stress on my GPUs.

I am happy with my AW18. Retail price is eye watering, but refurbs (with 1-year warranty) can be found for considerably less. So it was a no brainer to go with AW.

AW18 2 x 770M SLI. Max core is +100 MHz and max memory is +1000MHz. If I go beyond in core I get a shutdown and get artifacts if memory is set beyond +1000 MHz. Hope this helps.
