I have 940xm on my alienware now. So I guess I shouldn't worry about the CPU. Would it handle the heat tho if I decided to put 7970M onto it? 5/ At the moment, its idling around 52-57 and when I play game like HoN or Dota 2 on high settings its around 59-65. Is that normal for m15x with 940x + 460m? I'm scared it will get too hot if I put 7970M onto it..

Hey svl7, hows your temperature when gaming using 920xm + 7970m? I have 940xm and I'm still deciding between getting the 7970m or waiting for the 7950m since I have heard a lot of people saying its a bad combo (940xm + 7970m) Any news regarding when the 7950m is going to be out? Thanks!

Hey guys, just wondering what do you guys think about: i7 940xm gtx 460m 128gb SSD 750gb HDD should I upgrade to sandy or ivy bridge laptop? would I feel massive increase in terms of real life performance? say for mid to high end sandy/ivy bridge laptop around $1200 mark. and also how does it fare with 2720 or 2820qm? (940xm overclocked for daily use) thanks!
