I think that is the whole point of flashing vbios is so that you can have it on your vcard. So yeah I would leave it in.

Anyone else had and plastic snap issues on the back cover as well? I'm a little concerned about taking it on and off.

I noticed clips on these laptops break fairly easy. Seems as though the Y510P that I have is close to the same build. I am kinda wondering how many times you can take the y500 backs on and off before they are completely worn out at the rate I am swapping wireless cards.

Were you reading the top right rev number?

I just realized that the 3.7 number is actually not the version number of the BIOS, that's a revision number. I was looking in the wrong place the whole time.
