1. I'm running win10 x64 pro on it. No problem so far. Is installed on my M2 SSD. 2 sec boot. The drivers from 8.1 are working on 10. I'm using Intel 7260 with no issues. The brightness issue I had it on windows 8.1 because of Intel driver. No problem on 10. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
2. The last version on Lenovo website is 3.08. Maybe we can get this version modded? For revert back to a stock version you have to enable flashback in bios. I think there is a tutorial at the beginning of the topic . Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
3. Try Windows 8, there are the problems. Window 7 works on Adata too. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
4. Check Kingspec and Integral. Those two will work with the laptop for sure if you will find 256GB. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
5. I wanted to try myself the adata 128gb ssd and I bought one. Installed windows7 ahci mode as adata recommend's but the benchmark for writing speed was very low under 140MB/s. Installed windows 8.1 64bit under IDE and bios(not.uefi) and the speeds were also very low for writing. Read speeds were over 400MB/s so...to slow for the money. Same performance as a Transcend MT400. I returned it today with my soul crying because I bought a laptop for a feature that it seems to be useless. I found that a ssd kingspec 128Gb and 300MB/s is compatible with this laptop but I can find it just on eBay with no warranty. Also there is a Integral ssd with 430MB/s write speed but I can't find it in stores now. Any thoughts about one of the variants, kingspec or integral?
After two weeks: Problem solved. I bought a n Integral SSD128GB . It looks cheap but IT WORKS. I managed to install windows 8.1 in AHCI mode and made a benchmark. 500MB/s read and 160 Write. I cloned my HDD C drive and system partitions . I also installed a Crucial M550 in HDD place and I copied a 4.4GB ISO as a benchmark. From integral to crucial 450MB/s . From Crucial to Integral dropped from ~300MB/s to 150MB/s.

Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

7. So the slot is not enough. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
8. Shutdown then press recovery button to.enter.in bios. If everything is OK, you should see it in Bios Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
9. It's a known fact, told about the adata support, that the ssd is not working on Y510P because of Device sleep function of the ssd it's not supported. Although you can install window7 with AHCI but the benchmarks are poor on writing. I'm waiting for a Integral SSD 128gb. I should receive it by 5th of May. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk

11. At least we have something. But device sleep can't be disabled somehow in 8.1 to get ssd working like in win7? Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
12. Many thanks to svl7 for this mod. He repaired what Lenovo stupid policy did. I followed the procedure and I modded my bios v3.05 and now my Intel 7260 works great. I finally love this laptop. I hope it will be solved the M2 SSD compatibility..
13. Why did you stopped at 2.07 since a modded 3.05 version is availble? Look what is written in the Bios modding topic: Instructions for flashing the modified BIOS v3.05: You need a USB stick prepared to run DOS, here is a guide you can follow in case you don't know how to do this: Spoiler >>> Before continuing make sure the AC adapter is connected to your laptop and your battery has at least 20% charge remaining. <<< (0) - NOTE: This step is Only necessary if your system isn't already using BIOS v3.05 Update to the official v3.05 BIOS provided by Lenovo . (1) - Create a backup of your own BIOS (now v3.05) by using this tool. Extract the files and run the included .bat file from an admin command prompt. . (2) - Download the files for the v3.05 mod, put the files of folder [1] to the root of your prepared USB DOS stick. Let the BiosFixer prepare your BIOS for flashing by drag and dropping your backup file on it. Put the created "v305mod.bin" file to the root of your USB DOS drive as well. . (3) - Now you need to downgrade the firmware back to v2.07 in order to flash the mod. . (4) - Boot from your USB DOS drive, when you see the command prompt type BIOS and hit enter. Wait until the BIOS is flashed (you can safely ignore warnings about non-existing regions). . (5) - Once the BIOS flash completed with no errors, type EC and hit enter. Wait until the EC is flashed. Then reboot. . (6) - Go to the BIOS setup menu, load the default settings, apply and reboot. Done. In case you're using an ultra bay GPU follow the instructions in post #2 and flash the vbios.. NOTE: It's crucial that you flash both, BIOS and EC. Having different EC and BIOS versions can in certain situations lead to issues. IMPORTANT: If you want to go back to stock v3.05 you can do that easily by simply using the official update from Lenovo. That's it, nothing additional required in this case.
14. From what I know, this ssd is one of the few that really works in Y410/Y510 models without problems as a boot drive, but is slower than Adata model. What is your write speed on yours? I'm very surios? I think it has a slower controller but with better compatibility with this lenovo models.
15. I will stay sticked to this topic. I want to buy the same Adata 128Gb but everyone has problems with it. i know that is a Intel version with the same controller. Enybody knows something about this? In fact the M2 slot was the reason for buying Y510p not Z510 with msata. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
