Is it just me because of my user or are all download thinks broken? V4, V3, Downsampling Versions nothing can be downloaded with my user.

As a game developer i can totally say u guys ur right. U will never ever see a new directx version that just came out in a new game. Mostly u have to calculate a latency of at lest 2 years since release and first games using the technology. That is simply just because of the creators of games have to wait till the support for the directX version is spreaded to pubnlic enough so they do not need to develop more code then needed to just support as many pc's builds as possible. Some High End companies who produce AA title's like COD or Battlefield can afford to force the community to buy new cards to play their games but even them doing it really rarely or just put support for the new version into and not exclusivly. Also to mention just upping the directX version doesn't make ur game look better. U need to take advantage of the new technologies which also be not on the viewable side of ur experience as a gamer. As an example with directX 11 they introduced new pipelines to process polygons and textures multitasking and better to code. So u will not see a benefit of it as a gamer but as a developer u just cried GIVE ME NOW x)

Single Card vs SLI - today depends in my mind only on the budget u have. If u want for right now the best u need to go with SLI. If u can live with good situation a single card top tier is fine and u can of course add a secound one later. About the profiles and the lacking support for SLI today it mostly only occurs at console ports when they are made bad. SO in 90% cases u will be good with SLI. I generaly buy a higher tier single card today, and a year afterwards look onto ebay for someone selling his single card to upgrade to the newer one. That way u can mostly get the card at a half price and u will be fine. So for now i suggest a single card. What card depends just on ur Fanboying (nvidia, ATI) and ur budget. U could go with a 780TI, or 980 if ur budget is enough. an r290x isn't really that expensive at the moment and also a good solution. It also depends on ur needs, like u want a silent system, or u want to use low energy. U should give more informations or look up the benchmarks and infos urself about the Heat produced which will lead to noise because of the cooling and and and.

My advice about ur build is dedicated to a normal user who play's game's and wants to be playable on high at least, does some work on his computer and is may interested in some kind of editing or photo thingy. So first of i would advice u to invest into the 780TI if u can spend that rest of money. U can have a look into benchmarks over the internet and u will see the benefit on ur self. The Company of the card u picked is fine. I would suggest any of the top tiers like MSI, ASUS, Zotac Motherboard and Processor are fine if they fit what u need, but i just mention that in most cases of gaming an i5 is enough. I7 only needed for rendering, streaming, video editing general, ... About ur Memory u shot a bit to high. 32GB of ram is way too much. U will never see the benefit of it. For gaming PC's for current games 8GB of RAM are way enough. If u plan to do some video editing or rendering u will never have enough. So it's up to u but i just wanted to mention it. On RAM the company doesn't really care in my mind. A cheap none well known RAM can outperform a CORSAIR or whatever. But also to mention Corsair Vengenace is for today a very fair,good and cheap RAM serious capable of handling 90% of PC Builder's whishes. 850 Watt are fine for ur system if u not plan to add in about 1 year another card for SLI. If u think about that u should bick about 1000 Watt. If u need more information about our thoughts about ur build we need more information about ur use of the system, like u want to do rendering with Maya, or ur coding and have much compiling running or or or. Then and only then we can truly help u to fit ur system 100% personal to ur use. Without it's it's just a general pc build x)
