  1. Hey svl7 Not to be a pusher but I requested for my vBios to be unlocked quite a bit ago, (scroll up for the vBios) When exactly will it be finished?
  2. I had the same issue with my MSI Battalion MS-1771-1 laptop. Not as severe though, you need to open the back of the laptop and clean out the fan(s). If you aren't confident in your ability to do so, just take it to a PC repair store. They should fix it for you on the same day or next. It's not a big problem at all.

    Overheating MSI

I had the same issue with my laptop, I repasted GPU and CPU with thermal paste, cleaned out the fans blades and heatsinks and heatpipes, ran a virus scan, apparently I had 22 infections on my laptop, I don't know how I could've got that, let alone that many, very very sure of what I access/download on the internet. Used Super Antispyware to run and clean all the infections on my laptop, now it runs cool. See if you get anything on your laptop. @depakjan
  4. Well, you certainly didn't buy a bad notebook. I have the Battalion MSI MS-1771-1 ultra thin laptop. Core i7 4700HQ turbo boost to 3.6GHz (overclocked by .2Ghz) GTX765M stock 8GB 1600MHz RAM (I'd like to add in another 4GB or 8GB stick!) 1TB HDD I think? 60GB SSD cache? Not sure how to access it.. Picked this up when I was in America last year in November for 1600. I'd like to upgrade the GPU or memory sometime soon but not sure where to pick up those parts. As for your flash, stupid question but did you check your vBios matches with vBios flash file? I do know that the GTX880M cards aren't really stable on overclocking. I do know that some people have successfully flashed their card and run good speeds on their cards, but each card, even if its one 880M to another 880M works differently.
  5. I don't personally own an Alienware. I would love to. But as for upgrading to a new GPU. I know Alienware gives that feature for their laptops, I guess what you would need is bravery, some knowledge in hardware and the right tools. as for unscrewing the back, removing parts etc. I know there are many guides out there for upgrading GPU in Alienware. Take a look around. I've seen some full videos on upgrading GPU's in AW laptops and they looks pretty simple tbh. Good luck.
  6. Nevermind, there we go. Uploaded my vBios. - - - Updated - - - Nevermind, there we go. Uploaded my vBios. vBIOS GTX765M.zip
  7. My vBios file when I save it using GPU-Z is a .rom file, when I right click the .rom file for my vBios I click "Add to "GTX765M bios.rar" I click that and it saves it in a .rar file. I try to upload that but it says the file isn't valid.
  8. Hey @svl7 I need a vBios mod for my GTX765M my vBios version is: 80.06.54.00.1F It won't let me upload the bios.rom file
  9. I need a vBios flash for my GTX765M, it's an odd vBios version.. 80.06.54.00.1F @svl7 Please help.
