  1. Still Alice,. Makes you grateful for the little things in life.
  2. Depending on the intended use, you might want to also consider buying a powerline adapter and forgo buying another router/repeater.
  3. Hi guys, i have a lenovo y410. I bought Azurewave Broadcom BCM94352 and I put it in, but of course it is not on Lenovo's whitelist. So I am trying to mod my BIOS but I keep running into problems. I tried following these instructions but I get the follow error when I try backing up my BIOS FPTW64 is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program, or batch file. I tried running as admin and "unblocking" the files. I am running 3.05 bios. Any suggestions>?
  4. I just bought bought a broadcom 94352....but I'm in the process of removing the whitelist haha. I'll let you know how it is once it'd all said and done. That said I know the broadcom has ac support and the dual band support, might be worth looking into. Otherwise I think Intel 7260ac might be a good idea too.
  5. I ask myself this same question...I bought a BCM94352 and asked the vendor if it'd work for my laptop because I had this same fear, they told me it'd fit. So yes, it FITS, but its not compliant with lenovo's whitelist...so I'm in the process of removing that whitelist...such a shame they limit customers options. [h=1][/h]
  6. I bought a Samsung 840 evo 512gb and I have to say its the best investment I ever made for my y410. My laptop makes people envious at times, ha!
  7. It can run hot, make sure its elevated. I've had mine crash a few times during gaming but thats about it.
