  1. Everyone saying the macbook pro 2015 will be fantastic, will it come out by the end of January? Does the Apple have a policy that could help me to replace the laptop? Wow, sounds great!
  2. First of all, I suggest everyone to purchase an apple care service. My laptop can't recognize the usb drive in the summer. The Genius Bar replaced the mother board. During the past two months, the SSD of my laptop died several times. They replaced the SSD. When they gave the laptop back, I found there was a huge mark on the screen which was can't get rid of, Genius Bar decided to replace the screen. By now, if I don't own the apple care, I would have to pay at least $1700 to fix my laptop, but now they're all free. I don't know I'm lucky or not, but I'm wondering what will happen once my laptop beyond the warranty! : (
  3. I like it! Thank you for your suggestion of the scaling options!
  4. My laptop is 2013 late rMBP with 750m, it can recognize Zotac 970 and output to a monitor every time, and both OS X 10.10.3 and Win 8.1 works great. What I'm trying to do next is to purchase the Dell P2715Q 4k monitor. Does anyone have tried a 4k monitor with eGPU?
  5. Hey, guys! I have some problems right now. I update OS X to 10.10.3, my macbook 2013 Late with 750m had recognize the eGPU Zotac 970, but cannot recognize the output monitor via HDMI. And the output monitor worked well with 750m. Anyone knows how to fix it?
  6. Ha ha, naked AkiTion is fine to me, it will look more technical
  7. The screwdriver can not take off the part, u will need Dremel 4200. Take a look of what it looks like now.
  8. Hi, Evo! Thank you for your guid! I had already enable the Iris Pro 5200 of my laptop. My model is late 2013 mbp retina with dGPU 750M. And could you please find a way to disable the dGPU 750M? If so, I could use Optimus + Internal Display! I know using Internal Display could cause lower performance, but I'd like to have a try! Thanks! Ps: You can try any commands on my laptop! I will show u the result!
  9. I use the self-made molex to DC 5.5*2.5cm to power up the 25W AKiTiO. As you mean, the riser will work better. I will try it after I get my GTX 970. Thanks, dude!
  10. Thank you, Dschijn! Are you mean MSI GTX 970 with 6+8-Pin power connector and 80W PCIe Bus (75W+120W+80W) will work greater than 6+8-Pin(225W)? Is it same to the GTX 780?
  11. Hey Dschijn, Thank you for your Guide! I have a question, can you run GTX 970 without the riser(if there was enough space)? If yes, I will return my manufacturer fault GTX780 and replace it to the 970. My friend told me 970 is better than 780.
  12. Yep, I have 750M. My module is 2013 late.
  13. Haha, what I did was plugged out TB2 without shutting down the OS X 10.9.5, then the OS X crashed. When the display showed 'Kernel panic', pulled in the plug then press return button. After the OS X restarted, the external display worked.
  14. I do modify 3 kext. And the external monitor with GTX 780 does not work every time. When external monitor using GTX 780 does not work, I disconnect the TB2. Then the OSX 10.9.5 crashed and restarted itself. Then external monitor works. Is it harm for my laptop, when I disconnect the TB2 without shutting OSX down?
