I use dd tool, its very easy. dd if=locationof.iso of=/dev/sdX , where X is your drive name as shown by 'fdisk -l' on root terminal.

I am using Arch linux and I am having troubles with intel 2200BG wifi card which comes as stock, But after some research I had to learn that Lenovo had whitelisted the wifi devices on my BIOS and I would not be able to switch to other PCI express mini card for my laptop. Does anyone has experience in Linux with this laptop and specifically unlocked the BIOS and used a different wifi card than the intel one?
