Would it be possible to undervolt an 840M in an ASUS UX303LN?

I've managed to edit the latest UX303LN BIOS with AMIBCP v4.55 but I'm not sure how to flash it. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Are you sure it's not the GPU fan that you can hear. In later EC revisions it stays on after bootup and after using the GPU for any tasks. If you load the NVIDIA control panel with the 3D spinning logo it will switch off the GPU fan (double tapping the max fan key combo doesn't work for me as the GPU fan always comes back on using that method).

Ah Ok that makes sense. Only thing is I'm sure it didn't used to do it with earlier BIOS/ECs. Is it something they changed in later revisions and if so would you be able to put it back as it was?

Prema do you know if it would be possible to fix the dGPU fan bug. Just after booting or after using the 680M for a game etc the fan stays on medium speed. I have to open the NVIDIA control panel and the fan then stops. Really annoying bug. Is it likely caused by the EC?

Even 1:1 it's pretty bad. Zoom in further and you can clearly see the bands.

That original has some serious banding too.

Yeah sorry I used an iPhone for convenience so dynamic range is quite poor. It clearly shows the issues though. The logo itself looks great, the background not so much. Personally I think a black background would rock.
