Normally voltage is modified in Maxwell Bios Editor in the Voltage Tab by chaning the first 3 sliders.

Can you take a look at your actual voltage with GPU fully loaded in max boost state?

It should be much higher that 1.056V

I just had the idea to activate MFAA for 850M/860M through changing device ID by modding the vbios to 950M/960M

Could it be that the correct vbios won't be loaded anymore after i did that?

Hi everyone.I want to mod my vbios of the Acer VN7-791G-70M4 with 4GB GTX 850m.

Any experience about max.safe voltage? I'll try about 1.25v.How about 1.306v? Is that safe if temps are fine?

I like those Nitro books,but the 860M isn't very worth the money atm

Without any custom tool there seems to be no way.

This model has just been released and there is no bios or biostool downloadable from Acer

I just got myself the brand-new Acer VN7-791G with a GTX860M

Any Chance of discovering if the system bios is modifiable? (nvflash indicated that it's part of the system bios)
