N550JK modding vbios of GTX 850m

You can't change your voltage even with NVIDIA inspector? You've got mail, just send me your vBios. Normally voltage is modified in Maxwell Bios Editor in the Voltage Tab by chaning the first 3 sliders. Can you take a look at your actual voltage with GPU fully loaded in max boost state? It should be much higher that 1.056V
  2. Will be tested using SPI Programmer if necessary -> Thread can be closed
  3. I just had the idea to activate MFAA for 850M/860M through changing device ID by modding the vbios to 950M/960M Could it be that the correct vbios won't be loaded anymore after i did that? PS:Thread can be closed.Device ID isn't read from bios anymore

Hi everyone.I want to mod my vbios of the Acer VN7-791G-70M4 with 4GB GTX 850m. Any experience about max.safe voltage? I'll try about 1.25v.How about 1.306v? Is that safe if temps are fine? Thanks!!

    IMAGINE: NEW Clevo Models

I wonder if we will see slim gaming latops with GTX970M I was just about to purchase the Acer VN7-791G with GTX860M,but now I want to wait a bit longer I don't think Acer will sell any model with 970M I wonder if we will get GM204 in GTX960M
  8. Thanks for the advice! However I decided to return the laptop, because of display issues.
  9. Without any custom tool there seems to be no way. This model has just been released and there is no bios or biostool downloadable from Acer
  10. I just got myself the brand-new Acer VN7-791G with a GTX860M Any Chance of discovering if the system bios is modifiable? (nvflash indicated that it's part of the system bios)
