There was definitely a big difference for me when I got myself a mechanical one which I primarily use for gaming. For typing on the other hand the default keyboard on my lenovo laptop really is nice so I can't complain about it.

Unless you are an early adopter I'd recommend to wait till more 4K monitors hit the market. The general support and content for them will increase while the prices will go down.

Get Borderlands 2 or maybe wait till the pre-sequel gets released since it seems like a lot of fun.

Pretty much just the essential stuff on it with a nice background image from Bioshock Infinite with the lighhouses at dawn.

Played Day Z and its definitely a great survival game. Infestation on the other hand is just plain bad.
