  1. +1 vote for both skyrim and/or Borderlands series. Skyrim is a very fun rpg (and long 100+ hours of gameplay). Plus if you get skyrim, you can look forward to playing Elder Scrolls Online. However, if you prefer FPS, then i highly recommend borderlands. It's a good change of pace from other FPS out there as it is actually quite witty and humorous. Not only is it full of non-stop action, but also non-stop laughs.
  2. 750 TI should be a good buy. Retail is only $150.00 plus its maxwell and has very low tdp. You can never really go wrong with having the latest technology.
  3. Bought my laptop 4 years ago. Just now starting to look at upgrades Alienware M15x CPU: Intel Core I7 740qm 1.7Ghz - 2.8 Ghz (maybe someday upgrade to 920XM) GPU: Ati Mobility 5850 (updating to 765m) Ram: 6gb (maybe someday upgrade to 8 or 12) I'm hoping to get another 4-5 solid years before having to buy all new laptop.
  4. One thing to keep in mind about 860m is that even though the 2gb maxwell is faster and more power efficient, it is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be replaced or upgraded with a mxm 3.0b card. The 4gb kepler however can be replaced/upgraded because it is mxm 3.0b.
  5. I'm just about to purchase a 765m for my M15x. Beginning to wonder if its worth it. I think i understand fully the process of getting it installed and working, but it seems some people are still having trouble after following these guides. Is 660m a better option? Are there any major differences in M15x and M17x with 765m?
  6. The story seemed much more compelling than previous Bioshock games. The ending was epic.
  7. I've heard of smite before. I've just gotten into playing league of legends. I'm interested to give smite a try now that i've learned the basics of moba.
  8. Can't wait to play GTA V on pc. The mods people come up with keep the game fresh years after its initial release.
  9. Hi all. I'm new here and am excited to start looking into everything these forums have to offer pc enthusiasts like myself
