so will any 7970m card work as long as you flash it with the right vbios or does it have to be dell or eurocom?

nice scores. I am running CF 5870's right now in a R2. Been following all the 7970 threads I can find lately in hopes to making the change soon. I don't think anyone has actually tried it. I was reading some threads and never got past talking about it. I been trying to see if it works before ordering one to convert also

are you getting a rpm reading from the fan?

what 7970's are you using dell, eurocom, or other? Does it matter which brand or only that it has the right vbios?

tagging along since I am thinking of doing this upgrade soon.
