That does make me feel more secure. I definitely was weary about it, but I did it and its working amazingly, when I flashed mine it did not give me an error message at all. The last time I flashed a [system] BIOS it did not give me an error, it said it was good, but bricked my laptop (old ASUS G73JW). But thats another story...

After vBIOS flash, there was still no overclock ability, I can change the clock (or it looks like I am), but when I do a benchmark, or check cpu-z the results are no different than before. so I checked the vBIOS, and BIOS info to compare to the mentioned post #1505, no big deal, Im running win 7 anyways, but it all checks out, then drivers go unresponsive suddenly, system crashes, and hard reboot time (ouch). after reboot everything works great, including overclock. A reboot fixed it... go figure. However... I have no over/undervolting ability... is it just preset in this vBIOS, or is there some way to do it besides my beloved afterburner? (excuse me if sometimes my knowledge of GPUs seems primitive)

EDIT: if you're unsure try to find evidence of different users using different brands of cards in their Clevo's or different vBIOS versions, and what the results were. If people have no problem putting these different types of cards in their Clevos, then you'll almost definitely be OK with flashing that modified vBIOS. EDIT 2: After a quick search of this thread I did come up with one compatibility issue with your laptop, see post #1505. It might be relevant to you.

A valid point, and that is in fact my ultimate goal. However, I might add that the vBIOS version is not the same, mine is 80.04.67.00.06 is that a big deal? cause I am just about to flash it...

well, I do have that, but have not flashed it yet, I want to find out why i can not do this the way everybody else does, figure its good to conspire with the masses and make sure there is not a bigger issue at hand, don't know what that could be, but the last thing i want to do is mess up my cards, as this is the first time in my life I'm flashing a vBIOS. Definitely not a noob to computers, or modding, just this kind of mod... youll understand my apprehension of flashing...

okay, so traveling back in time to the GTX 670MX discussions. Ive looked everywhere to find an answer before asking this to everyone. I am unable to open my VBIOS for edit with any software I can get my hands on, its either "unsupported" "bad checksum" or just wont work. I pulled the VBIOS with NVFlash, and GPU-z (from both cards, multiple times in case the file was bad) and tried to edit them with every VBIOS editor I could find, but to no avail... every method I tried was with a method that supposedly supports this card, something is awry here thats probably beyond my knowledge base, and I need some other brains on this. Please help me out!
