  1. Well, I did it. Had to do a power drain and then go back into the bios. There was a cpu microcode update when I ran the bios through UBU, in the bios it says microcode patch 19, don't know if that's the newest or not but there doesn't appear to be any adverse affects.
  2. I've used the Unified Bios updater on a couple of my desktop computers without issues to update the Oroms. Is it possible to get the latest oroms in these modified bios's? Anyone see any issues with running the unified updater on the modded bios, running the fixer and then flashing?
  3. Are there any aftermarket replacement fans for the g75 that offer better performance or are quieter? Not that it really needs it I just like doing stuff like that. Has anyone pulled theirs apart and replaced the thermal paste?
  4. I wouldn't say that. I have a Mac Air and had a Samsumg 900x3c Ultrabook, the Sammy was smaller with the same screen size. The Sammy was an awesome Machine, only complaint was the battery life could have been a bit better.
  5. I don't understand why, I have a Mac Air (work supplied for support work) and I hate it. The entire OS seems to require more steps to do what I need to do.
  6. Hey everyone. I reluctantly traded my Sammy ultrabook for this Asus G75 and immediately started searching for ways to mod it. So far this seems to be a beast of a computer. Ready through some of the forums there seem to quite a few very knowledgeable people. It will be nice to get to know you all.
  7. I've had the asus ac66u for about 6months now running the merlin firmware, very nice router. Actually, it's the best router I've ever owned. Fast, stable and lots of options
  8. I just traded my ultrabook for a g75 with 670m pretty much just to play bf4. Glad it runs it well.
