Thanks Prema... would you happen to have the Metabox logo splash? I thought the idea behind restoring 'stock' was to remove the evidence that the Bios was changed

Hi DiveDr, I have a P157SM. From what I heard the primary difference with the newer "-A" variant is the GPU. The P150 is smaller, and some say, classier. I did a quick comparison previously - off the top of my head, the P150 chassis can support less drives - I think it can only support one 2.5" drive and 2 MSatas. The P157SM (i.e. P15SM motherboard??) supports two 2.5"drives, 2 mSatas, and 1 optical drive, which can be replaced with a 2.5" HD caddy. Best check a site such as metabox.com.au, or any other reseller - they will tell you the difference quite clearly.

Nice thanks for the p157sm manual! Will be most useful as I plan to max out the ram and a few harddisks.

Just to clarify that I'm after the metabox version of the stock p157sm BIOS. Perhaps all I need is just the splash screen?

Hi! I flashed the prema bios on my new Metabox P157SM laptop and it was awesome until I discovered the SATA Port 4 (the second mSata slot) doesn't work. Need to send it back for warranty and therefore flashed back the stock bios (P15xSM_34_31_Stock). However, the boot up screen displays "Style Note" and Aptio, instead of the original "Metabox". Should have backed up the bios before starting! Can someone please help me?
