I got a dell card off eBay but did not have a bracket. Only one I can seem to find is from upgrademonkey. Here is the link. Nvidia Quadro / ATI AMD video Card Spreader X Bracket for 675M 680M 7970M 8970M Can any verify this is what I need. Then should be a file the screws, paste, pad and good to go? I've read the stickies but it says just to get a bracket and want to make sure at 70 bucks I'm getting the right thing.

I got the card and need a bracket, anyone know where a cheap place to get the right one with screws? should I do mxmupgrade?

when you did the upgrade did you have to get a different bracket? I'm upgrading from the 5800 series and wondered if its just a swap, paste, pad and go? Also what part number was on your card, and do you know the difference with 9XVK3 and the 747M2, thanks for the help!!

I want to upgrade from the 5800 series to [h=1]OEM DELL Alienware AMD RADEON HD 7970M 2GB GDDR5 Video Graphics Card 9XVK3[/h] There is a different part number than the one on the sticky and I was also wanting clarification on the bracket. Do I need to order a new one that fits that like [h=1]Nvidia Quadro / ATI AMD video Card Spreader X Bracket for 675M 680M 7970M 8970M[/h] other than that is it just plug and play?
