    Bluetooth

BTW my experience with Bluetooth when I converted it to Win 7 was horrible. Sometimes worked sometimes didn't sometimes laptop would recognize bluetooth was not even there..very frustrating. ended up going back to win8.
  2. preyproject is something I've set up on alll my pc's. Never had one stolen (fingers crossed) but sure like the features and feel safer having it there.
  3. Mine allows two finger tap to open up right click context menu.. Also three finger and four finger options I Believe it's synamptics touch pad though.
  4. Tip for anyone popping laptop parts apart. best to use something such as wood or plastic such as a plastic knife or maybe chopsticks. Keep the bezzle or chassis tight and let the tool do all the work with a bit of wiggling if needed. Never metal! Unless you're rocking some tunes
  5. There is a way with the correct nvidia drivers to have the y510p use the dedicated graphics card and even not use the primary built in card but ONLY if you do not have the secondary SLI card in otherwise the feature wont work. This helps me save a ton on battery since most of the time I'm not gaming and when I am, I'm running both cards with it plugged in anyhow.
  6. I've heard there are various version of the Lenovo y510p. Do we know if they all have the same motherboard and therefore should support the same BIOS updates? What I mean by various version of the y510p is different places will sell them with certain ultrabays and such configurations, yet when you contact Lenovo for part purchases they are very specific on what your serial is to verify the type of part you can purchase regardless of just saying it a y510p...
