I know your issue is solved, but people should keep NAS solutions in mind. With the right software and router or a little, old PC, you can get a NAS/micro server that you can basically access from anywhere. I have a small nettop setup with 8tb, which I can access from anywhere at any time, and I can stream music/video from it from any device. -

One of the newer Sagers with 765m might be a good bet. Decent keyboard, great screen, gaming capacity, and cheap. Another decent option is the Samsung 7 Chronos w/ 8870m. Great keyboard, decent screen, better gaming, really light and thin. Fantastic machine. -
The cost on those is nuts, but those are done damn fine benchmarks... Maybe I'll upgrade my R2 in the next few months.

Tomb Raider Running at Ultimate Settings on M18x

No problems running it at ~65 fps @ Ultimate here. 680m SLI stock clocks. -
There have been a few issues reported with this setup, but some people have gotten it to work.. My recommendation would be to buy a pair locally, test them out, and return them if they're odd. Apparently it was only a few firmwares that had the issue, including the one the Dell 840 Pros are locked to.
