NO. UX31A has non standart SSD form factor. You can see it on AnandTech | ASUS' Zenbook SSD and Apple's MacBook Air SSD Are Not Compatible

Problem may be in WiFi antenna ? What signal level do you have on notebook ? Asus UX32V has two antennas: wifi and bluetooth. Can you exchange them ?
