Are you cleaning the notebook every month? With an vacuum cleaner or compressed air? That helps a lot. I had the same problem. After i was cleaning my whole notebook and using new thermal grease the problem was gone. I had 88-95 degrees when i was playing GW2. After cleaning ca. 55 - 76 degrees. Iam using a cooling pad too. I thake this one, because it has a large cooler: CM Storm SF-17, Notebook-Kühlung und -Ablage schwarz

@aznbravox there is only one USB Port @alienware M14x. It is the right one. The other USB Ports are only USB 2.0. On wich ports the mouse is connected?

@malakide Please check is you use the correct GPU. Right Klick on the WOW.EXE and check the context menu. There is an Entry: on my side in german: Mit Grafikporzessor ausführen > NVIDIA ..... Perhaps your wow application is running with the intel chip. Please check it

the only way to deativate the optimus is to use the 3d display for this modell
