  1. Gracias, I did that after my moment of panic haha, good to know nothing actually happened (I actually felt really silly afterwards... >~>). Thanks for the quick response, out of curiosity, do you know why that odd bug happens?
  2. Hey Prema, I've recently upgraded to your Bios Mod (for my W230ST), and loved it almost immediately. I didn't actually change much of the settings, but still, it was awesome compared to what I had before (concerning noise). Although, until today, there wasn't a single issue. Now I think something went wrong. After Windows BSOD'd (I assume this is the cause, I don't recall anything else important happening... [decided to run speedfan]), I realized once the computer restarted the dedicated GPU simply wasn't there anymore. I assumed this was something with Windows. I wasn't able to reinstall drivers. Odd. Booted up Mint, and noticed that the penguin didn't see the card either. Finally, I checked in the BIOS, my GTX 675M isn't recognized in the dGPU tab either. So now I'm at a loss, is it possible that the card died due to some unfortunate incident concerning the modified BIOS, or was it simply something unrelated. Anyway, the integrated card works fine for the time being, but I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to solve this issue. I'm planning to eventually flash to stock, hope it works, and if it doesn't, RMA (hopefully I won't get denied :\). Thanks,
  3. Yeah, I haven't really updated the BIOS ever since I got the machine since I never really found "easy/automatic" ways to do so, and was never really bothered to do so anyway...until simply patching Guild Wars sounded like a nuclear device activating. Anyway, then I'll get right to it and update to v2 ;D! Thanks!
  4. Hey Prema, I just recently found out about your BIOS mod, and well, am really tempted to flash it because of the endless fan noise. However, I haven't really done any BIOS flashes before and can't really find any specific warnings from my lurking around. So, just to make sure that I wouldn't brick W230ST from Sager from an instant v2 flash. Currently I have: ME: 9.0.20.1372 BIOS: 1.00.05LS1 EC: 1.00.04 So, would I be able to instantly just flash the v2, or are there other steps I have to go by first? Thanks, WaffleZ
