Marcus glad to see that you made a decision, I don't think you will regret it at all. The I5 is not the limit of the computer the Gpu is so you will be able to play the games you like as long as the GT555 will support them. congrats!

The only "GAME" that I own that stresses a GPU is FSX. The others are handled by the Intel GPU RON, BIOSHOCK2,CIV4. Am still getting a feel for settings types of planes and stable frame rates useing the frame rate monitor that comes with FSX.

Just ran some benchmarks on the free version of 3dmark. 3dmark11 stock settings 1280x800: 3dmark11 p1287 3dmarko6 stock settings 1280x800 : 3dmark06 11414 3dmark06 mild overclock 700/1400/1000 1280x800: 3dmark06 12790

Ninjahunter; Would it be possible to run 3dmark06 on stock and oc to see what the numbers are compared to the i72620? thank you.

Just ordered mine this week with the I5 and 1600x900 screen base model. As long as it performs better than my g71x best buy model I will be more than happy, having a main machine that i can carry around will be a welcome change. Not to mention a battery that will last longer than 30 min.

I would like to ask why you have had a more expensive screen replaced with a cheaper screen?
