  1. I've flashed to v2 mod, and the camera sometimes has been shown in Device Manager, sometimes not. Don't know what the reason is, it's strange but I would not like to be entangled with it anymore... Thanks for your efforts.
  2. Thank you Prema. I want to flash the BIOS to the original backup one, here is the info of the backup rom(4 MB size): BIOS Version: 1.03.03TBP2 KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.03.01TE1 And current version of your mod revision I've used is: BIOS Version: 1.03.03PM v1.1 KBC/EC Firmware Revision: 1.03.01 I've forgot to backup the original EC, does it matter or not? I've run the following commands in pure dos: AFUDOS ORIGINAL_BACKUP.ROM /D and got "ERROR: ROM FILE ROMID IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING BIOS ROMID" then I append /X param, as: AFUDOS ORIGINAL_BACKUP.ROM /D /X got "ERROR: ROM FILE CAPSULE HEADER CHECKING FAIL" If I could use this backup to flash or not? Since I've bought my computer in last month, I used the camera rarely- might be no more than 2 hours, I didn't think that it was broken. So I need to restore the BIOS with the original one to check if the problem relates to your Mod BIOS or not. Please help me if with your pleasure. THANK YOU!
  3. I've tried to reinstall my OS to Win7, can't find the camera from the Device Manager. If fn+F10 is pressed, the camera will be disabled but it still is shown in the Device Manager, but not disapeared. I've the battery removed and tried, problem still exists. The TF dosen't offer any BIOS and BIOS update tool, but I've backuped before, the backup is only a 4MB big file. If I could restore the BIOS by a toolkit called "T_AMI_EFI_BIOS" or not? Is it safe to do so? I've checked everything even the keyboard, and found no problems. I am afraid it might be the only way to get the camera back now...
  4. Hello Prema, thanks for your excellent work! My p157sm(tf x611) was updated to your "P15xSM_33_31_PM1.1" version last Saturday, it has been working perfectly until yesterday I found the webcam has gone. I've tried to reinstall my OS from Win8 to Win8.1, and restore the bios to default settings but it didn't work. The camera has been used several times after updated the bios, but it has been gone suddenly, I can't figure it out. Could you please help me if with your pleasure. Thanks again.
