Is it ok to put copper shims on the cpu? I heard somewhere they worked best for the gpu but could damage the cpu

Right now i've had it for a little less than a year. If anything you are getting your money's worth performance wise. The only problem i've had is the front grill light went out and the hinges cringe a little bit.
