Yes and no. No, you cannot "upgrade" the GT650 card in your laptop. It is soldered to the motherboard and is not replacable. Yes, you can "upgrade" the graphics on your laptop by adding a second card in SLI configuration (like they are offering). This is done through the Ultrabay GPU Module.

On the note of energy management: you can still keep the program, but make sure you are using the "Maximum Battery Life" setting. If you choose "Optimized Battery Health," the computer will often throttle the GPU (much like being on battery-only)

I bought a generic 9.5mm caddy off of eBay and it works fine. The only downfall is that it isn't a perfect fit-to-trim on the laptop. It doesn't utilize the locking mechanism, but otherwise the drive works perfectly.

No. GPU RAM and system RAM are separate. Unless you are using integrated graphics, your graphics will not benefit from additional RAM
