Garry's mod is a very unstable game, oftentimes a server crashes for absolutely no reason every half our. It is really hard to point out what exactly is the problem, but since your PC is a stock model as opposed to a self-built system, I would check the temps. Manufacturers tend to use the same cases and cooling for low end as high end hardware even though thermal design power may very, which may result in your game crashing.

I bought "Sir you are being hunted!" Yesterday and played for 4 hours straight. It's really challenging and if you are careless, you die a lot. It's on Steam sale now and it definitely worth its price of 5 euros.

It sounds really illogical and risky. Does anyone happen to have the BIOS version 2.07 stock installer?

Noob question here, my Lenovo Y510p is currently running on BIOS version 2.02 and I have no idea where I could possibly get to one of the BIOS versions that is supported (preferably v2.04 I suppose). Lenovo's website isn't helping much either and it just doesn' t seem to exist on the entire internet \rant tl;dr: how do I get from version 2.02 to 2.04 so that I can finally use the whitelist mod, where can I find it?

svl7, the link you provided in my PM regarding this topic is dead. Whenever I click it, it says "No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator", which is impossible due to your inbox being full so you cannot even be notified that way. As to the rest of the message: all the posts I read in this thread are experiences with the BIOS mod. How can I give feedback on something I haven't even been able to test yet? It's obvious which way I chose. However, it's unfortunate Pay2Win is no longer limited to gaming only...

I currently have BIOS version 2.02 and I see no way to upgrade or downgrade my BIOS since Lenovo doesn't have BIOS updates for the Y510P available anymore. Is there any way I can get rid of the whitelist? I really want to install a different NIC, because this one is horrible.
