Hi everybody, Does anybody have a vBios for the M290X from a P1x0SM-A? I want to upgrade my HD 8970M vBios. I know both cards (8970m & M290X) are technical the same, but it would be great if GPUZ and the AMD default driver will recognize the card as m290x. If somebody have a P1x0SM-A with this card it would be nice if he/she upload his vBios. Greets Daniel

@intelligence: Maybe for my next project, but i think it would be only intersting if egpu industry release singl buyable thunderbolt boards. @ithildin: Yes this would be possible , but you have to wait for the crowdfunding campaign.

Flash the right Bios on it.

I had a 6970 with the same problem. I baked my gpu in the oven for 20 minutes by 170 degrees and after that display and hdmi/dv8 works both.

By the way where can i get the dell enduro off vbios for the 7970m version 1.1?

Thanks i send the card back to the reseller so that he flash a new bios. If this will not work i will contact svl7

I patched the right 7970m to one of my old damaged 6970m. I desolderd the chip of the 6970 whitch is the same as on the 7970m last step would be solder the 6970m bioschip on the 7970m but iam afraid to do this. Because desoldering is very difficult.

Hey @all i am Daniel and i come from germany and bricked my cleco 7970m with a wrong dell Bios. It is a version 1.1 card and the plan was to use it in my p150hm. With the default clevo 7970m enduro off bios i wasnt able to install a card driver so i decided to use a dell bios. But i think i updaded a wrong 7970m dell vbio. Can anybodey from germany reflash my card? With best regards Daniel

Hi svl7, can you please upload the 7970m vbios with enduro off that works with the version 1.1 card in an clevo p150hm/p170hm. The default clevo enduro off bios dont work with the dirvers. I have a picture but if i install a driver i`m getting a bluescreen.
