Thank you for the information. In my case I will not use it as a cache disk but as my primary HDD. I will put my OS and some software + some games on it. I know it can be used as a HDD as I did try to put a Linux distro on the 24GB one and it worked fine. In this case it will have Win 8.1 on it plus the rest. I could just replace the internal HDD, but than I would loose on storage as I cant effort to buy 1TB SSD HDD. If I use a second HDD in my laptop I loose the SLI capability. This way I should be able to have a 128GB SSD flash disk with OS + Software. 1TB internal HDD for data and SLI graphics in one laptop.

Hello guys, I just purchased 128GB MyDigitalSSD Super Cache 2 SATA III (6G) M.2 NGFF SSD today to replace the smaller M.2 SSD in mine y510p. My noob question is, do M.2 SSD suffer with the same limitation of writes as SSD HDD?

Just replace the N-2200 with Intel 6235 today. Will not look back. The N-2200 did give me trouble from day dot. Ever since I purchased y510p. The 6235 is from my work laptop so I do suppose I have to put it back into the laptop eventually :-) That's why I ordered 7260AC today. Can't wait till it arrives. I was thinking to sell the N-2200 on eBay, but after the experience I went through, I don't wish that much pain to my worst enemy, it will go straight into the bin.
