has anyone ever tried updating the BIOS from 1.xx to 2.xx or higher? Or is the hardware changed? As far as I know the 1.xx have 750 and others have 755. Maybe I can upgrade to 755 by flashing a 2.xx on my 1.xx Laptop as I need to make it compatible with the 755 SLI I bought.

Hi there! I'm using the modded 1.10 for a long time now on a 410p. Now I want to upgrade to a second GT755m but there is only a BIOS mod available for 750m. Should I take this one on a 755? Better not(?) I could live without the mod Features but can't find the stock 1.10 BIOS. Could someone post the 1.10 stock BIOS for me please? edit: I could swear I had the 755 but GPUz shows 750m now. Possible that the BIOS update (from foreign user, because I lost my stock bios) altered it from 755 to 750??? may it be possible then to flash the Ultrbay 755m I bought to 750 to make it compatible?

Did you try to use windows power manager instead of the lenovo one? I find the y510 got a really cheap and buggy one.. No compare to the manager that comes with the think pads.

is there a chance to set the boot up status of the wifi device? got annoying behaviour with it on my 410p

Hi folks, another problem I am facing on my 410p when ever I boot up the machine windows(7) tells me that the wireless device is deactivated (like in flight mode or something else) Due to limited bios there are no changes to make like always on or so. Neither there is a hardware button I could use. Im very disappointed because I know it better from my L430. Only workaround at the moment is to set to sleep and wake up again. I know its designed for Win8 but I hate it... Any suggestions? ADMIN NOTE: Do not make multiple threads. Added from other thread: got strange problem on my Lenovo y410p. While playing Arma3 I get random blackout after 2-30min not really reproducable. Changed nvidiadrivers already as well as power settings. Anyone else facing this problem? greeting zs

I got solution for you... got the same strange problem but i knew that it worked before... so i reverted every change I made. Came out that the power manager shipped with this notebook was to blame. No matter which performance profile was chosen I always got stutter like you described. Just uninstall and be happy!
