Pretty sad that such good pc comes with bad wifi card and also whitelist. But at least can try to mod BIOS and fix it. Hope it works.

I would recommend y510p, have been using it and dont have any complains regarding game performance and video card. On the other hand there are issues with wifi card you can stumble upon. Have to be ready for that.

I am on the same side as all the matte-screen fans. Must admit, that colors are not that bright, but on the other side you dont have to worry about using pc outdoors. Also, glossy screens get dirty quicker.

Dont really understand what the fuss is about. Yeah, the wifi card is terrible, but you can mod bios and change it to whatewer you want. Except that everything works really good. Havent had any problems playing games or with graphics.

Arent you judging this too soon. I have lenovo y510p and except wifi card I havent had any other issues. Well, the battery could be better, but I dont realy carry this pc around, just play with it at home. Also, there is a possibility to mod bios and change wifi card, so that problem ccan be solved too.

Have to agree, lenovo y510p is definetely locked. You should use bios mod if needed for any wifi change. Actualy thats pretty awful that lenovo or intel uses these bad wifi cards and lock bios. Like they are trying to make it harder for us to want this pc.
