  1. Hi @svl7, I've managed to revert my bios to v2.07 from stock 3.05 on my y510p, but I can't figure out how to run this program to backup (adding the backup to whitelist looks pretty straightforward). When i run the app contained here, I'm prompted to press any key 2x and then it closes. It doesn't look like anything has happened. Can someone offer a bit more instruction? Thanks
  2. I, possibly foolishly, started with Lenovo support and asked them about whitelisting. After being put on hold to talk to a supervisor several times I was told in a shakey voice that any mods *might* void the warranty, including updating the wifi card to one that isn't whitelisted.
  3. Hi Kwaz, This is exactly what I'm hoping to do. Rolling back to v2.07 bios from v3.05, then modding to whitelist my y510p for the 7260 AC. Did you run into any problems whitelisting? Any advice would be helpful. Thx
  4. Wondering if I'm missing a step. I'm reverting my y510p to v2.07 BIOS, then backup the bios, then run the whitelist mod? Since the stock wlan adapter is only 2.4G and Lenovo is unwilling to offer whitelisting options. thanks in advance
  5. Does this bios override the whitelist, or is that another set of steps? Sorry, first time here.
  6. Thanks for your help on this. I too have a y510p, trying to install an Intel 7260 AC Dual Band. I did get it flashed to Bios V2.07, but I'm having trouble backing up my current config and using the whitelist removal tool @svl7 posted here. Can someone offer a step-by-step for backing up uefi bios via the command prompt? Much thanks for this.
