I have seen the inside of the r2 and the graficcard is on the board, so I dont think there is a way to upgrade. The question is why to upgrade?

I have an m14x R2 as well and it is the best maschine I ever had, I use it in addition with an m11x r1 for traveling... perfekt combination.

I love my Alienwares, I have an m14x R2 and an m11x R1 The m11x ist on of the best travelbooks I ever used, powerful and long lasting batterie... wow! The m14x r2 has no thermal problems, on long games it gets a little loud, but I reduced the cpu power to 70%, that is still enough for everthing, but by that no problems anymore at all!

I am tring to install an os x to my M14x, are there any ways to configure the graficcards in the hack BIOS?

Hi guys, I am new as cou can see. The reason I am is, I was looking for a modified BIOS for my Alienware m14x r2 to install a Hackintosch. Main thing is that I need to deactivate the NVIDIA in the BIOS what is no possible with the original dell. Is this possible with the modified version? THX for Help
