Can we get a video input like the hdmi input on an Alienware laptop? When I switched from an M18X R2 to my P377SM(Sager NP9377), that is what I actually miss. Don't throw things at me for this, but maybe a glowing LED for the brand logo on the back of the lid. I miss some of that bling too! Even with these things I was used to, I love my laptop after the switch to a Clevo.

Clevo/Sager or Alienware
lizardking88mph replied to ajnindlo's question in What Notebook Best Fits My Needs?
What do you mean by keyboard ghosting? From my experience because I have owned both, that Alienware is overpriced and seem to have more problems than Clevo. I have had motherboard issues with an M18X R2 and other problems with an M17X R4. I have nothing but happy things to say about my Clevo/Sager NP9377. Price per performance/quality parts can't seem to be beat. Just my $.02. Hope this helps. -
Hi, technically I'm not a new member because I have had an account since December of 2013. So long time lurker, new contributor. Anyway, I love gaming laptops and prefer to game on them for their mobility. I found this forum through google searches and think it's awesome. Very useful/competent people here. I hope my posts will help some of you. Thanks!! - Matt

In my NP9377 I the GPU 1 on mine get into the 90's and caused it to throttle back. This happened for a long time and I couldn't figure it out. GPU 2 was always 10 to 15 degrees cooler at full load while gaming. I opened up the bottom cover and removed the fan for GPU 1. When I did that a big clump of dust came out and I figued out that it was blocking air flow. Now my temps have dropped about 15 degrees and are in about the range you are getting. So be careful about dust. A can of air is your friend!

I have a p377sm-a, which is pretty much identical to the cooling setup of the p375sm-a. The temps you posted look ok to me. I had GPU 1 on mine get into the 90's and caused it to throttle back. LPC Digital and Xotic PC are some some of the clevo/sager resellers. Mine came from LPC Digital. Larry from that company is active in some of these forums. I am really partial to the p377sm-a just because it offers a little bling. The p370sm-a is a little too boring looking for me. But I came from using Alienware laptops, so I like a bit of bling. I love mine! If you don't like the lights, you can turn them off.
