This needs inspection by svl7 I wouldn't flash these until more is known about them. OP where did you get these? or download these?

Wanted to say thank you too!! I was able to downgrade to v2.07 Stock & then apply the v2.07 whitelist BIOS. I had an Intel 6235 2+2 WLAN card and my laptop is a ton faster. Thanks! ~J

Just an idea, have you considered trying a screen protector with an anti-glare coating/finish? Quick search shows a couple on Amazon and other places. Results are mixed, but this would be a lesser of two evils option. Removing Laptop displays can be tricky and do have a medium level of risk - esp for flexes and cables, adhesives, etc. ~J

Very good question. I have a y510p on order and following this thread to see how things turn out. Odds are I'll have the same problems too. ~J
