Hi Prema. Im not sure if you did not catch this message i sent to you a few days back.I wondered that if you were to dig up the old bios would you still be able to update it with all the new features that all your new bios releases has?...If you can do it i sure would make it worth your while.Its a pain not being able to shut the system down properly.When i first got the P370SM it was shutting down just fine until i updated my bios!..I worry that i will not be able to sell it on in the future, to upgrade to a newer model with it like it is....Thanks...

Thanks Prema...If you were to dig it up and find the very old EC/BIOS version, would you still be able to adjust it so that it had the latest updated features that your new bios'es have?

...is there any solution to this situation with a development board and the shutting down problem with the P370SM? ...will the new bios you release in the future resolve this problem?

...Yesterday i accidentally came across a forum where a person could not get there DSR working. A person replied stating that to make DSR work you have to run in full screen mode.I did not try full screen mode.I always use windowed borderless. I wondered if you still have the VHD of win 10 and could test that easily.

Maby it is a bug. I felt i should upload this screen capture to clarify my first post.I also have the BSOD when i hit the windows 10 start button, only if there is another window open on screen at the same time.Im sorry for posting the first post.I would not have posted anything if i did not feel at the time it may have been relevant. With no frame drop when the DSR is selected, i guess it is not working. Cheers!

Ok.... thank you! I was lead to believe in you-tube vids i watched about Directx 12, that when Directx 12 is running, all games will be processed in the same way, IE processed more through the gpu than the cpu.I did not realize that they had to be Directx 12 compatible I thought Directx 12 was backwards compatible.

no... actually i did not. I did find that in BF4 with that driver i was getting much better frame rates, much higher than normal! Im guessing this is to do with the limited Directx 12 support? The driver ran well to start with but then i ran in to a bad stutter problem. Beacuse i installed windows 10 preview on a raid 0 set up, when i go into safe boot to uninstall the driver with Display Driver Uninstaller, windows 10 gives me an error stating that it can not recognize my hardware.To uninstall that driver properly i will have to reinstall the whole system again. I may do this again to day and try a fresh install of it. CODAW still ran very well but that is all the games i had available to try. I still did not notice a frame drop in CODAW with DSR on. Again im not sure if the limited support for Directx 12 is covering the lack of frame rate drop.

...Hi all. I felt i must post this info. Today i installed windows 10 preview again here on my P370SM. 680M sli.I wanted to try out a driver that "Cyris" posted on a guru 3d forum. (349.72) here is the forum : windows 10 directx driver 349.65 windows update - Page 3 - Guru3D.com Forums . here is the driver i downloaded : 349.65-desktop-win10-64bit-international-beta . It worked ok. When i came to set the nvidia control panel to my preferred settings there was the option for "DSR" I tried it and it seemed to work.I have not used DSR before but i defiantly felt that it was working. BTW i had to add my gpu hardware id the "nv_dispiwu.inf" file. Cheers! : )
