  1. Hey, I just set up my EXP GDC Beast from GearBest, and it works great with my GTX 670 save for one small problem: When resuming from hibernate with the card, the hibernate image is deleted or something; it starts up just like a fresh boot. There's critical errors in the Event Viewer; Kernel Power error 41 with 0x0 bugcheck codes, and SleepInProgress: 5 Apart from this, everything works fine. I'm planning to just run a seperate Win 10 install on a second drive just for games, which would allow me to continue hibernating with Win 8.1, however I'm curious if anyone else has had / fixed this problem. Thanks!
  2. Hmmm... I bought it from redtrontech on eBay. I might have to ship it back to Taiwan...
  3. This didn't work either. As long as the ExpressCard adapter is plugged into the laptop the red PERST LED never turns off.
  4. The red LED never switches off, even with No Delay set... Still same problems as mentioned before.
  5. Hi, I've found a 1080p replacement screen for the X230: Lenovo ThinkPad X230 Series 23202EJ Laptop Screen, Call for Pricing It says it's 12.5", so I'd imagine it fits. I'm more worried about the BIOS rejecting it or the interface not being able to drive it. Has anyone else had experience with an aftermarket replacement? Thanks.
  6. Okay. I'll try as soon as I get home today. Does it not matter that the slot is 1x and the setting is for 16x, or is it the type of the card?
  7. Hi, I have a problem with my new PE4L 2.1b. I just received it 3 days ago, and it hasn't been working for me, neither on my X220 nor my MacBook Pro. The problem is the same on both; I plug in the eGPU to my 500W power supply (Cooler Master, so not a crap PSU), plug in my crap Radeon X300, the ExpressCard, power on the laptop. After turning it on, LED D4 turns red. I'm able to use the USB port on the PE4L, but the graphics card is not detected, even as a generic PCI card or unknown device. The graphics card gets warm, so it is receiving power. In Windows, there are several hidden devices such as Video Controller which seem to be related to the PE4L, all with error code 45. Upon plugging in the card, Video Controller became solid, with an exclamation mark, but went right back to hidden a half-second later. The video card works in a desktop PC. One issue is that it may not be getting enough power from the PE4L, as it draws all of its power from the PCI slot. However, I'd imagine that it's not the problem. Is there anything I can do to make sure my PE4L is not broken at least? Thanks!
