  1. Thanks I'll give it a try! _________________________________________________________________ Electric Guitar Sessionwork/Music Arrangement and Orchestration: [email protected] Audio Mixing Services: [email protected] www.blindowlstudio.com
  2. Yep! thanks! The hardware id is HSD06A5. And the other one I have is SAM0900 (probably not relevant but just in case. I'm interested in "color correcting" the laptop's one)
  3. Hey Prema, maybe I need some kind of driver then because it shows only as Generic PnP Monitor. The one in my laptop and the hdmi bigger one I have.
  4. Hey guys, do any of you happen to have p170HM + 680M pro Color Calibration profile files for Windows 7? (I'm needing better colors to work on video editing) and as you know, we don't have contrast, tint, etc hardware controls (buttons), at least my machine doesn't have them. It has to be done by software. I found some published by XoticPc but very outdated and not specifically for p170HMx machines. Well hope some of you can share! Or any suggestions or CC software recommendations are welcome! Thanks!
  5. Well if you don't mind shipping your laptop to NY, you can get it fixed and back in a couple days if you send your machine to http://aqstech.com Or just contact Joe K [email protected] Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
  6. Well by the time you get my posts they will seem to make no sense. That's because I'm new and only when a moderator accepts my post it is showed. Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
  7. If you did flash your sistem/mobo bios and the laptop won't turn on (so unsexy haha) since then, the best you can do is to contact a bios recovering service and let them fix it for you. Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
  8. Well I own a Sager, so.. You should try what svl7 and alienware owners say you should do. Looks like some notebooks has integrated vBIOS code embedded into the main system BIOS (Alienware?) I think it is not clear enough what happens to you. Does the laptop turn off suddenly, or does it crash/freezes somewhere. If it freezes, when does it happen? When a game is running, when you turn the laptop on but before the OS starts? The laptop doesn't actually boot up anymore? Where are you from bro? I know how frustrating it is where there are no tech support nearby. Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
  9. 1 long beep 2 short beeps sounds like a vbios error. Try flashing the vbios to another rom file. You can find it on google. Just flash it to the very exact vbios version. If it doesn't fix it, then maybe it's not the vbios but to make sure you can flash it to another vbios that's compatible with you laptop. If it still doesn't work, you might want to send your laptop to a bios recovery service in your area (or see it as an excuse to upgrade your card )
