  1. Have the 120Hz screen and the glasses, so stick with the V1. Gotcha, thanks. Sorry if the questions are all samey. Haven't flashed anything but a vbios before and I don't wanna make a mistake. Used V1 and everything seems to be working fine. Thanks a bunch.
  2. I see, so since I have the NP9380-S, I should go with V1 then. Thanks. I'm still running with dual 780M's though, will V2 stop my 3D from working?
  3. I see that P3xxSMx the has two versions. Do I have to install version 1 then 2, or will version 2 alone have all the additions that 1 came with? Like is there some sort of installation order? Lastly, I like the Sager load logo, would disabling the boot logo switch back to this instead of the modded logo or would it just not have one altogether?
  4. If there's anything I don't like about the NP9380-S, it's that the Optical Bay is on the right side. Being right-handed, it's more of an inconvenience than an actual problem since I'd have to move my mouse pad/wrist rest and the mouse away to open it. Other than that, everything is just peachy, especially after that vbios flash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I can vouch for the G700s, even though I have the Non-S model. I've had it for a few years now and I love how you can use it as both a wired or wireless mouse. The S model has a higher Dpi than my regular one, and that's pretty much the only big difference that I can find between the two. If you can find the regular one, it's probably cheaper now. But the S is $100, and well worth it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've plugged mine into a tv through a home theater. But doing so makes 120hz unavailable. The TV I have is 240hz. I heard though that if you use the Thunderbolt for the display output, you can use the screen's refresh rate. Thread from Notebookreview Forum for more information.
  7. Flashed my vBios and now I don't get any messages of nvlddmkm.dll not responding and recovering anymore. I don't even get any more flickering when using 120Hz on games. Why the heck aren't any of the Sellers or Nvidia making their own versions of this fix, or even selling their notebooks with said fix already implemented? You'd think that would make sense.
  8. Gotcha, won't be doing that then. Not any time soon anyway. Thanks.
  9. How many power bricks do you have? Do you think just 1 300W brick would be enough to overclock the GPU like that?
  10. Gotta say, top notch guide there svl. I've never flashed anything before, and I've followed it up to backing up the vbios. As soon as I'm able to get your custom 780m bios, I'll be sure to continue with the process. Thanks a bunch.
  11. Thanks a lot, I was wondering how to take off the keyboard on my 9380-S out of curiosity. Didn't realize the customer and service manuals were two separate things.
  12. I got my 9380-S with SLI in late August. Apart from having to send it back to Reflex Notebook because of an issue with one of the GPU's, I've been very happy with it. The bag I'm using is a backpack that fits an 18" laptop, since I used it on my M980NU. I've also been getting a flickering issue that's been discussed and solved in another thread though. It's pretty much what led me to these forums.
  13. I'm running on the R331 drivers right now, is the custom vbios compatible with it? If not, how far back do I have to go? Oh, and what program are you using to show the GPU Temperature and Framerate during gameplay?
