  1. @mmskate Evga precision has higher 'roof clocks' Than msi, i think the max it will let you go is like 850,1080 or something like that.
  2. Darn! back to the drawing board, Guess im going to have to find a new way too push performance. Nice score mmskate!
  3. Oh lol, Thats not my score. I was going through the "results" category to see what people were getting on the m14x. My max score is almost 100 lower than yours because my cpu scores so much lower. I just thought you would be interested in setting records. Everything you asked except driver is listed on that page.
  4. lol, NumaNuma all over again... Only he had mad skillz
  5. Oh my gosh. StevenX Your not going to believe this. (Ok, you will but whatever). You were 4 points away from the highest score ever recorded by 3dmark11 on a 555m GT The score to beat is P1889 http://3dmark.com/3dm11/1600649 Just thought you might be interested in that tidbit.
  6. Mass effect 3 is due for march 6th. Im really excited because it fixes the ONLY gripe i had with mass effect 2, the lack of weapon mods. But its still in my tope 3 with worlds in conflict and probably the half life series.
  7. Loved mass effect 2, it was also in my top 3 games. My only gripe was the lack of weapon mods, And luckily their fixing that in mass effect 3
  8. Ya, i will get to that in a Day or two. Ive gotten Quite a few requests and want to do a good update. On a side note, could anyone post equivilant benchmarks? I noticed alot of people claiming huge performance gaps in some games (namely crysis 2). Thanks -Ninja
  9. Im really excited for this Im not a veteran to the series but ive loved almost every second of it. I just hope they invested a little more in NPC's The always seems a bit awkward
  10. @Dane, with the A01 bios you get roughly an hour of solid gaming and with the A03 bious you are pushing almost 2 hours but there is a notable performance difference between the two.
  11. Hmm, i dont have very many CPU intense games because i used to game on a duel core. Shogun 2:total war also has a demo. I believe the world in conflict demo was good with multithreading, there are a couple of crysis warhead benchmarks. I also have the two latest S.T.A.L.K.E.R games but im not sure about their multi thread support. If im not mistaken theres and amra 2 demo. Lol, i definatelly thought i would be of a little more help, but apparently half my games are unreal or source engine.
  12. Some i5 benchmarks, ile try to get as many games up as possible at different settings. Using driver 275.33 and using Throttlestop. Using all standard Nvidia CC settings except pre-rendered frames is 0 and V-sync is forced off. 3Dmark11: Stock and (800,1050) http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/8135/11low.jpg http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/4728/3d11max.png Metro 2033: Medium, high and very high benchmark http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/3161/mediumfc.jpg http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/746/highd.jpg http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/8108/veryhigh.jpg Overclocked (750,1000) http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/7843/metro2033c.jpg http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/2610/metro2033q.jpg http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/8108/veryhigh.jpg The witcher 2: (high settings and my custom config), (750,1000) http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/2307/witcherhigh.png Avg:24.8 Max:36 http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/4002/witchercustom.png Avg: 28.3 Max:42 Crysis 2: no custom config, v-sync off, motion blur off, DX11 and high res textures. 1366x768 (750,1000) All other settings: Very High: Avg:51.3 Max:72 Extreme : Avg:34.4 Max:46 Ultra : Avg:23.5 Max:32 BF:BC2 1366x768 (750,1000) avg of 3 tests BFBC2 Settings at High (HBAO Disabled) Atacama Desert level (lol,, whith the weird name) min:32 avg:53 max:114
  13. Moving away from BF3, The crysis 2 Black fire mod 2 and the latest HL2 cinematic mod both run well (graphics overhauls) I didnt bother to measure the FPS on the mods but the crysis 2 mod ran pretty much the same as ultra settings and the HL2 cinematic mod felt like a good 60 fps. Also heres some gameplay of metro 2033 on an i5 M14x i made. In the description i gave the frame rate of all the different graphics levels in dx9
  14. Nice analysis/review. I felt a little queesy when i saw the screens but this is pretty good for alpha i guess. betas where the real shine comes in.
  15. Im no expert on the crysis console but that might just be normal ram, i remeber when i played crysis on my old ati 4850 512mb I would easily get numbers over 1000 in that area. I could be wrong but that is quite a bit of memory just for one game even if it is crysis.
  16. Hey dane, thanks for the upload, it installed well once you put it in the proper directory. However i believe this driver is just plain buggy. At a glance im seeing that my hardware no longer can play DX11 things like 3dmark11 or crysis 2. 3dmark11 states that My gpu only supports dx10.1. I did some looking around on other forums and this seems to be a very common problem. At the moment i cant find a fix so im recomending m14x users avoid the 280.19 driver. On a side note im seeing alot of people saying that it makes it so programs and games dont detect the dedicated GPU.
  17. I tried to mod the INF but obviously im doing something wrong I would be much oblidged if someone could mod and post.
  18. Lol, darn just downloaded 127.33 good find though, now you have me excited.
  19. Is there a reason you set frames rendered ahead to 0?
  20. @stevenx - The Clock is actually at a tiny 203/324 and im getting about 1/3 - 1/4 performance apposed to plugged in. But ya im on AO3 according to the boot setup menu. I dont suppose theres a way to make it a little faster?
  21. Thanks for the post stevenx. On my bare bones M14x (i5) and a little more aggressive settings(see below) im almost getting 2 hours of gaming on mine. I tested with half life 2 episode 2 and beat half the game while maxed out (-AA). My settings: cpu at 1.7ghz(roughly 70%) with turbo off, brightness at 70% and wifi on Max power save. I have GPU at max performance but in my testing it made no difference.
  22. Usually memory clock effect performance dealing with resolution, AA, AF and textures. At 720p or even 900p if your not using AA and/or AF your hardly gonna push the bandwith/memory. I think you would get more notable performance difference if you used an external 1080p monitor with some anti aliasing when overclocked. But this is just a theory. It could also just be the way the card works. the memory is fairly fast on it.
  23. According to an interview the crew behind BF3 said that the system requirements werent crazy like crysis. And ive gotten crysis warhead maxed (1366x768) at a very smooth 25-35 fps. I would expect simular performance from another juggernaught game But im assuming there will be a few high end effects (I.E. SSAO) which maght have to take a hike.
