Hello, I'm looking for some guidlines regarding: During OC m18 (780m SLI) it started to get screen driver error over +100mHz clock. It happen in games and uningine soft. I have no idea what is the reason of that. Vbios was flashed with the one from forum, temps and power usage are fine, I didn't touch voltage. Below i attache screen with tray, showing moment when screen get banana. I am curious is it problem with hardware or software. Latest nvidia drivers are instaled. Thx for help

I noticed that after updating my 780m vbios I get screen crash when OC GPU's +100 clock/300 memory. Screen driver get banana, I checked tray and its not a problem with throtling, temps ~65 C. Any idea what is the reason? Laptop m18 - 780m SLI. Thanks

i have same alienware with 780sli but everything work fine here, I didnt yet try go over 100mhz for clock and 300 for memory , no poroblems with temps when play bf4 or metro <80deg.C When I get more time ill try play more with that. Btw what is safe setup for voltage?

AW 18 as I am using now but only if u r looking for desktop replacement. Still not so hard to carry to the airplane but 18" can complicate life a bit. But anyway I recommend it.

4800MQ plus SLI 780m works fine for me, maybe benchmark is cut by CPU bit still make 12k 3dMark11 with stock clocks

For me matty, glossy reflect to much sun light and its easier for my eyes when I spent a lot of time in front of screen.

I have u3 on my AW 18 which perfect match SLI GPU and CPU. 5 fans are useless because the r not under original fans anyway so just making extra noise. Anyway for me stock U3 reduce temps +/- 5deg. BF4 on ultra warm up my GPU to ~78deg. which is ok. Better result will be if are able to put Air condition exhaust under ur laptop;p Imo Cooling pad is not made to reduce temps by 10degs or more.

G700s is very nice mouse which has good battery live as for wireless mouse plus some xtra buttons, but for me and MMO games Razer Naga is the best But it is expensive;p

After all anyone got some stable OC for 780m? I look forward to play with my SLI 780m and I wonder how far you can go with AW cooling.

Yep same me, I got this 4800MQ but still evertyhing running fine and got 12k benchmark with stock 780 SLI

I have AW m18 from 2013 with SLI 780m. I cant complain about overheating. So far most stres full game was BF4 which reach 76deg. C. on both GPU. Ofcourse the price is overpriced in europe but still I took around 20% dsicaount from dell delaer:)
