version 3.0.0 Beta 16...but, if my memory serves me correctly, i tried with the 2.3.6 (stable) and there was the same bug. Anyway i'm sure that after vbios installed, the turbo boost works (with 331.65 driver), becouse i have clock and memory values in tray icons, and when windows starts, for 1-2 seconds i see the max value ( clock 835, and memory 2000)...not 745 for clock.

I used Kombustor for the screen shot, but i have the same situation with a real game. Yesterday i tried with MSi Afterburner, and i have the same situation: for example i have a msi afterburner profile, with +215 clock freq, and +800 memory; when i apply this profile, in idle i always have 135mhz clock freq, and 405 memory, and when i start a game i have the overcloked value( 1050 mhz clock, and 2800 memory); so i'll use afterburner (not inspector). For me this is a good situation, rather than always p5 stat EDIT: and no, i think i have no problem with throttle; but i don't know exaclty, becouse my max temp was 62 (with overclock), and 57 (without overclock)....with coller master u2 pad.

Thanks!! About 331.65, i have it, and yes the boost didn't work...but yesterday i installed the vbios, and immediatly the boost worked. Infact now, without overclock, whern i start a game, the clock works at 835 mhz. And yesterday (after vbios intelled) i tried to change the p0 level with inspector, and it worked. So apparently with 331.65, the p0 is no longer disabled.

Hi, after installed a vbios, what i have to do for overclock my gt650m? 1) nvidia inspector is the best way? 2) can you explain the difference between the 3 levels in inspector ( p8, p5, p0) ? 3) surfing, i found this (by Eats7) https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8BzmVEcUKrYang1WEtFblRRMFk/edit?pli=1 I Just run the .bat and the throttle iusse is fixed? forever, or have i to run the .bat everytime windows stars? 5) Fixed the throttle iusse, what about max gpu temp? 80 C? 4) How can i have my inspector overclock setting when windows starts? 5) After some test, i understand that if i start inspector with -forcepstart:0,5, i can lock the values; but if i prefer lower values while gpu is in indle, and higher values when gpu works, i have to use the p0 levels. Right? 6) With your experience, what is a safe limit for clock frequency? 1000mhz? and about memory clock?

Hi, i have windows 8 with 331.65 driver. With origianl a13 bios, gpu clock freq works only at 745 mhz (becouse 331.65 doesn't allow turbo boost). Now i have already installed a13 modded vbios, and immedialty i noticed that the clock freq works at 835 mhz...but i don't understand: 835 is the vbios setup? or is it the boost that now works?

Ok perfect, i'll try it. -
Hi! After installing vbios, i can change the clock freqency of GPU (my is gt650 m). Right? What about programs for do that? MSI afterburner? Becouse i have a little iusse with MSI afterburner: I have windows 8, with latest nvidia driver( 331.65). While i'm playing, MSi afterburner shows only 405 mhz (clock frequency), but other programs (GPU-Z and Hwinfo64) show the expected value, 745 mhz. So i think MSI afterburner has some iusses with 331.54 driver, and my problem is: if MSI afterburenr shows wrong value, how can i safety overclock the gpu? Another problem: with 331.65 driver, the turbo boost doesn't work, infact the clock frequancy is always 745 mhz max, never 835 mhz. What do you suggest to do, for overclock the gpu?

OK, but i had installed windows. I have two SO inetalled: windows 8 + linux ubuntu. Both stars with legacy (becouse eufi+linux = problems). I always use only LEGACY mode...never uefi, becouse in eufi i can't boot linux (and i need linux). Sorry but i don't understand english very well, so i want to be sure: Does the modded vbios works only in eufi mode? or can i use modded vbios in legacy mode? -

Ok thanks. I know the difference between uefi and legacy, but i wanted to be sure about legacy+modded_bios, because the guide says: "5.) After you flash you have to change back to UEFI (secure boot + fast boot) if you are on windows8" Thanks -
possible solution to GPU throttling

Have you ever done a repaste? Factory thermal paste = bad qualirty. This summer I had terrible fps drop, in all games, casusing by throttle; so I did a repaste with arctic silver 5, and it fixed all problems. -

Hi, i have two questions: 1) After installing the vbios a13, can i return to original a13? simply by installing the original a13 with stardand dell procedure? 2) Becouse i have 3 SO (win8 + 2 linux), I always use legacy..NOT uefi. After installing vbios, can i still use legacy for windows 8?
