  1. It turns out that Insyde > 3.xx bios is to blame. And I have 3.7, which is great...
  2. I have the 7260 single band(as in latest Y410p) in Z510 and it sucks. Signal drops to 11mbps very often even with 16.6.0 drivers. I really wanted to upgrade to 7260 AC Dual Band but I have 3.7 bios... so write protection rules! I truly hate Lenovo!
  3. I'm also getting the same error with a Lenovo Z510. I think the chipset Intel HM86 is to blame which powers the Haswell generation. I've tried almost any solution to flash the whitelist modded bios but no luck.
  4. Can the tools provided here work on my Z510 Haswell Lenovo? I've tried flashing a modded bios either from DOS or from Windows 8.1 with ftp/fpt64 and I get Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space!. I was able to backup my bios. Nobody was able to help me yet, any ideas? Thanks!
  5. Will the card work on my Z510 Haswell? Can I mod my bios? I've heared that the latest models like mine have some bios write protection and cannot flash modded bios.
