OK.. so... If i downgrade my stock 3.05 to 2.07 with bios from here: http://forum.techinferno.com/lenovo-ibm/5405-please-make-modded-y510p-bios-based-74cn44ww-v3-05-a-2.html my EC stay still with version compatible for 3.05 and then if you mod the stock 3.05, when i upgrade to this version (with your way) my EC be still right for 3.05. Probably everything would be fine?! Or maybe i'm wrong?

OK, so i if good understand... When we downgrade to 2.07 - EC is also downgrade to right for 2.07... and when i upgrade to modified 3.05 the EC still stay the same for 2.07?! Why EC aren't upgrade with 3.05? Please can You explain it for me?

So... i have y510p with this BIOS version (3.05). When i try to flash this version from support i gave the information "BIOS compare version error" but i know that is normal because i have the same version. This is a task for SVL7 to delete whitelist from it and force flasher to overwrite BIOS when we have the same version i our notebook. (this is not important probably for users who have 1.xx or 2.xx or earlier 3.XX). SVL7 can you help us??

Lenovo publicated BIOS update on their support site --> VERSION 3.05 probably for all HW rev. 1.xx, 2xx, 3xx Laptops and netbooks :: IdeaPad Y Series laptops :: IdeaPad Y510p Notebook - Lenovo (US), maybe now SVL can mod this bios (remove whitelist) without sleep bug or another issues for every each user... That sounds good... P.S. Sorry for my english.

With FPT or maybe you became this BIOS from Lenovo Service/Support and then mod?? What you mod with orginal BIOS or there is only mod with *.ini file in Igor Pavlov Flashtool and untouched BIOS?? No problem Men, u Welcome Problem with the flash isn't simple. Mod that i make with EZH2O utility (remove whitelist) is ok but with 3.05 Lenovo provide hard to brick protection against the flash anything :-/ svl7 - my guru said me that is probably impossible ;-( Probably only way to have another adapter is order the right card listed on here Hardware Maintenance Manual - IdeaPad Y410p, Y510p of course with FRU from Lenovo. In my country only few authorized service center Lenovo can order for me orginaly parts from Lenovo - and it's more expensive than the same card without FRU on ebay for ex. (the same card without exactly the same FRU can't work with Y510P)

Hi! I have found one chance to replace the WiFi in our y510p. In hardware maintenance manual (official from Lenovo) are list of compatible adapters with FRU from Lenovo. Hardware Maintenance Manual - IdeaPad Y410p, Y510p There are three cards with 2x2 antenna: BCM4352 AC BCM4322 Dual Band AR9462 (aka WB222) I'm call to Lenovo Support in Poland without success (they say bla bla bla) Then i'm call to authorized repair center RAMSERWIS.PL in Warsaw and they told me that: BCM4352 AC it's not available now and don't know that card will available. BCM4322 Dual Band it's possible to order (2-4 weeks) - price 285PLN -> 92$ it's very expensive but it's work AR9462 (aka WB222) it's possible to order (2-4 weeks) - price 285PLN -> 92$ it's very expensive but it's work Above adapters have the same FRU like FRU in hardware maintenance manual Probably i order one of them and i forget about bios mod 3.05 because probably it isn't possible to flash with flash protect.

OK... i try to use FPT tool in DOS mode and i have the same information about Flash Protect (error 280)... then i try use PRR2 tool: @svl7 - maybe you can up to date the prr2?? I must replace the 2230 to 7260AC because of wireless range in my house :-/ Maybe Y510P have a function of recovery bios (the recovery file must be name Yx01.bi) but i don't know that i can use the dump from FPT Tool or i must use the FULL ROM with EC and MEI and which combination of keyboard button launch this recovery mode.

But when i try to flash with the same tool that i make dump Intel FPT Tool and i have error -> Error 280: Failed to disable write protection for the BIOS space! I enable/disable option Flash Back in BIOS but flash is still without sucess :-/ Sorry for my english and i hope that can someone help me

Ok... tell me the last one... in W230ST (brand new fly to me actually) i read the bad issue with probably fan table... from Notebookcheck (ONE K33-3E): "Fan-whining during idle" "However, it also spins up at times without apparent reason and results in an annoying noise of more than 40 dB(A). This phenomenon can also be seen with other Clevo barebones." It's resolved??

OK... on the Clevo's site (CLEVO - Download) this what you named Clevo Control System/Center is Hotkey AP with number 7.xxx or 8.xxx... we talk about the same thing, yes? Can you upload the BIOS and EC for W230ST version: 1. BIOS 1.03.02 and EC 1.03.02 for W230ST. 2. Add Winodows 8.1 support.

Ok... if i understand... Clevo make/work now the CCC and that will be newer version or replace the Hotkey Utility... but... i found the Hotkey 7.00301 and 7.0028 on the Pro-Star site... on the Clevo's site is only 7.0026 and 8.0134... that's interesting me why the newer version of their own product i can only see in Prostar or Sager... And another question... if i have XNOTE W230ST from Poland and this notebook have BIOS with logo XNOTE can i flash the STOCK BIOS form REPO PALKEO?? It's safety??

OK... i can't find reliable source where i can download the lastest Hotkey Utility for Windows 7 and 8/8.1... when i check many (all) place in the internet like: Schenker, Clevo, Sager, Pro-Star etc... and many models in there... i found: Hotkey 7.0028 Hotkey 7.00301 Hotkey 8.0134 Repo Palkeo only public the lastest Stock BIOS and that's ok... but maybe someone know the place where i can find official the lastest Hotkey Utility like BIOS on Repo... if no maybe we can make the thread where will be upload the last that we found....
