I always recommend the razer mouse products as Ive tried various other mouses and playing with mouses that have additional buttons on the side where your thumb is located is great. Granted there are other mouses out there that also have them but none as good as razer in my opinion.

I had a MBP 2012 along with a g75.... i tried playing games on MBP and went immediately back to the g75 but.. I also say you should do what the above posters stated.. people all want apple

Is it running SLI mode? Everytime I do a upgrade for the graphics card it shuts it off SLI mode so the right side bay no longer spins might want to check it just in case

I was quite surprised myself when I found out that it was whitelisted I would have never bought this laptop if I knew it was such a hassle to with getting around all the roadblocks it has it place.

Did you change the wireless mode in properties to see if it picks it up?

I have not looked through all the threads yet but I am hoping that with the y500 I can modify the fan speed in the BIOS once I change it instead of relying on something like fantuner to try and get it running 100%.

Ive thought of this myself of making a enclosure that helps the cooling pad remove all that hot air I am always worried about overheating.

Ive found my y500 doesnt play very bad on this game but maybe that is just me. Are you trying to max everything out?

I always preferred my desktop to be minimal also just very little or nothing to click on with some good looking background
