  1. Is it possible to change the TDP values in the CPU PPM to get a greater turbo overclock ?
  2. HW info Reads brand name as MSI GT60. This Bios is flashed http://download7.msi.com/download_files/bos_exe/E16F3IMS.10U.zip ... custom EC only for GT60 retails works too .. sooo can i flash the GT60 file in the first post ? thanks ! or better dump the actual bios and let it modify ? -----------------works unstable while nvidia gpu is activated trying ec reset, using custom EC , maybe the problem ?? ------jupp unstable bios seems to have a problem with the 675mx
  3. no sir ... allll vanilla talking about that : https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=162629.0 GT60/70 are starting pretty quickly to throttle down when they´re running on turbo .. and thats pretty stupip, my i7 runs @66C 3,20ghz max thats nothing .. 675MX fries @85C max sometimes, fan is manually @60%
  4. so flashed my 675mx back to the rom from here, everythings fine and runs smoothly but after a while it gets stuck in P5 state .. that is soo weird. I have a MSI GT60 with a modified EC so that the CPU doesn't throttle. I dont think that this is the culprit .. everything is controlled via vBios, am i right ? So my clocks are 1066 on the Core and 2300-2500 on the Memory. No artifacts nothing, even after ours it is rock solid. Then sometimes, P5 324core and 800mem, its stuck cant get it out ... could it have something to do with my OC or is it because the Rom is heavily modified ... thanks in advance so switching active status in hardware manager restores it ...
  5. man you angry .. happens wirh every ROM .. even with your praised one here .. geeesh ... his ROM is dropping from 1.037 to 1.012 and the sudden P5 lock occours with every ROM i had .. Now back to Windows 8 (!) because 8.1 is broken, really ...
  6. got that sorted out .. another problem is that the GPU suddenly downclocks to 324 core and 800 mem, and stays there till i restart ... im running oc @1066core and 2500mem ... its stable ... volts start @1.050 then dropping to 1.025 ... anyone got the same problem ????
  7. my 675mx starts @ 1.037volts .. after a while it throttles down to 1.012 ... that kinda bad for my overclock ... how can i fix that ? vbios flashed from here
  8. my 675mx starts to throttle when i was at 1063 ... i hope 1030 will be okay ... but loving this vbios mod .. its awesome, free fps ^^ .. asic is 81% .. thats okay
  9. Image quality ... Can't count how many times I reinstalled SCM ... Broken as hell
  10. wow this is amazing, and flashing in windows went so well ? How about the temps ? I have the Same gpu
  11. Hello everyone ! .. vsync is giving me a hard time. It's an optimus based system so the output is handled by the intel card. So when setting vsync in intel controls it applies. But wherever i use it with triple buffering or not it stutters, like frame skipping. If i limit it to 59 fps it gets better, windows mode works out the best but has decreased framerate. Currently running Windows 8 but I'm going to format and reinstall Windows 7. Having big trouble with SCM too. Using a modified EC to reduce throttling but i don't know if thats the culprit. Enabling SCM gives me constantly switching state for bluetooth and i can't turn wifi off via the button. Closing SCM corrects all of that. I hope Windows 7 gives me a better time. It's a 3rd gen,HD4000 Intel, based system. See ya !
  12. turbo button has to be enabled to overclock the core
  13. people with a 675mx in an MSI GT60 getting good results out of this ?
  14. anyone with a 675mx and a MSI GT60 getting good results with those unlocked VBIOS mod ? ... really looking forward to flashing this
