Trying putting it on quiet mode (Fn + Esc). If you undervolt, you should be good. But if you try to run big applications, you should expect that once in a while.

Yeah Pro-Star has the same policy. Sager lets you update the BIOS yourself though...

Got it down to -100mV on the 4700MQ. Maxing at 90 with Prime95. No changes in idle temps (around 60).

I'm not sure about whether they'll let you replace the LCD but I think they can repair it themselves so you won't have to ship your laptop in the states

Got the 05 BIOS and EC with my W230ST and I never hear the fan bursting when it's in quiet mode. Still get it occasionally when it's in performance mode.
